Services

Therapy
I offer a client-centered, trauma-informed, culturally affirming lens for individuals of color who manage life in the midst of racism and oppression. As a board-certified music therapist, I can also offer music therapy experiences to address your needs.
My goal is to build a therapeutic relationship within which we can identify negative thought patterns and work through past traumatic experiences that impact your ability to form and maintain healthy relationships. I strive to give you the tools to improve your overall mental and emotional wellness. I offer telehealth services to make it easier for you to access the care you deserve.

Music Therapy
Music therapists utilize music and the relationships that develop within and through music as part of a therapeutic process to address physical, emotional, spiritual, developmental, behavioral, and social needs. I hope to support the health, and well-being of Black communities through music with community-based, culturally sustaining music practices that support the liberation and freedom of Black people.
My services are rooted in a deep appreciation of black people's humanity and healing journey. My methods draw on musical traditions and insights around healing justice, creating liberatory spaces for my clients. I believe in harnessing the healing potential of music, and I hope to do so in a way that is culturally grounded, sustainable, and uplifting. Common goals may include physical/ emotional well-being, socialization, improving communication, and facilitating expression.

Supervision
I recognize the challenges of this work and acknowledge the value that supervision has made toward my growth as a professional. I am passionate about continuing the practice of supervision with interns and colleagues. My experience working with adolescents with severe disabilities and complex medical health needs and adults with mental health challenges as well as my years supervising interns and new professionals allows me to give back to other professionals in the field.
I provide supervision utilizing an anti-oppressive framework and teach clinicians to decenter whiteness while confronting the oppressive systems that negatively impact patient care.
